  As the Regional Marketing Manager at Alation, you will have a demonstrated ability to effectively plan campaigns and programs that will impact Alation’s business in terms of driving net new pipeline, accelerating active pipeline, and aligning with a sharp focus with strategic partners. This Marketer should have expertise in crafting and executing successful demand-generation programs while collaborating closely with product marketing, sales, SDRs, and external partners and vendors.

  We are looking for someone who can take full ownership of integrated campaigns, uncover new opportunities, move quickly, and have a strong appetite for growth. Working as a strategic marketing business partner, you will align closely with Regional Sales Directors and their go-to-market teams for demand generation goals as well as communicate programs and broader Marketing initiatives to create demand. You will collaborate with regional teams to develop targeted and aligned approaches to engaging and converting new and current customers leveraging Tableau and Clari forecast and account-level data. Fostering a healthy relationship between sales and marketing is a must. Comfort with and experience in a highly data-driven marketing organization is also a must.   This position reports to the Director, Regional Marketing (Americas). Although the role is fully remote, there is a strong desire for this person to live in in the Chicagoland area or Texas.

  What you'll do:Align and support Regional Sales Directors with a full-funnel of marketing resources available.Plan and execute end-to-end demand generation programs, which include leveraging webinars, emails, nurtures, paid media, and content syndication created by fellow marketers.Approach your region with an Account Based Marketing (ABM) mindset using account stages and pipeline goals at the core of your scalable strategy.Develop and execute innovative, multi-channel campaigns to drive MQLs and sales pipeline, while closely monitoring conversion rates and optimizing campaigns at each stage.Optimize a high-impact, scalable regional marketing strategy aligned to pipeline and revenue goals and strategic partners.Collaborate closely with marketing partners across regional campaigns and leverage digital and vertical programs to drive in-region pipeline impact.Lead field planning and execution for Alation-hosted events and 3rd party industry event sponsorships, and targeted programs for our top-tier prospects and customers. You will use these events to build the brand, develop the sales pipeline, and strengthen customer relationships.Support pipeline analysis to map field strategy to open opportunities in the funnel to ensure targeted campaign impact.Measure the effectiveness of programs on a regular cadence and report on results.Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across the AlationMarketing team (Marketing Operations, Digital, Brand, and Product Marketing) to help build and execute your programs.Manage the marketing budget for your core programs.
