Overview
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating Customer Administration and for a group (region) of SBS branches. The position is responsible for the functions of, Dispatch, Sales Order Processing and Contract Billing. Additionally, the Region Operation Manager will be responsible for achieving and improving branch performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through the implementation of standardized process, policies and technologies.
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing, motivating, and mentoring a staff of employees involved with operational and administrative processes.
Monitor and direct the day-to-day activities of all regional staff to ensure all functional areas are running smoothly and efficiently
Ensure staff is aware of goals and ensure all KPI targets are met or exceeded
Frequent review and evaluation of procedures in order to locate inefficiencies and apply improvements when needed.
Develop and coordinate activities related to continuous improvement of branch operations throughout business
Partner with branch leadership to develop a business plan that are consistent with corporate objectives and local market conditions.
Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
Utilize standardized KPI’s and Reporting to identify areas of improvement and develop actions with the Ops staff for resolution.
Identify, Coach and Develop the staff to increased levels of proficiency and establish “Swim Lane” leadership to assist with the day to day management of the team.
Work with Branch Customer Experience Manager and Controller in the management of inventory and ordering of equipment, parts and supplies to fulfill the local branch forecast and revenue demand.
Establish process and communication with the Branch Service organization for assistance with Meter Automation and Customer Satisfaction.
Share knowledge with the SBS National Director of Operations team and other branches on effective practices, business opportunities and needs.
Qualifications
5+ years proven experience in Branch Operations Leadership
Ample knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Outstanding communication and people skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM

Compensation for this position
The compensation range for this role is $56,400-$114,400. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
