Job Title: Compliance Officer
Reports to: Head of Compliance
Region & Area: APAC
Job Purpose:
To assist in the management of all corporate compliance and assurance work in APAC. This will include, monitoring existing processes and ensuring the adherence to robust and efficient controls including anti-bribery and corruption and anti-slavery and human trafficking. The Compliance Officer will be expected to independently deliver targeted training and ensure all associated third parties are onboarded and monitored in line with AVEVA’s policies and processes.

Carrying out Due Diligence using AVEVA’s existing platforms on all associated third parties in APAC
Clearance of potential matches and red flags arising through both direct and indirect compliance checks
Handling compliance queries/clarifications in APAC
Assisting the Senior Compliance Officer with Assurance in APAC
Monitoring and approving Gifts & Hospitality in APAC
Monitoring and approving Conflicts of Interest in APAC
Coordinating and delivering training for APAC
Monitoring the Compliance inbox
Coordinating regular administration of the G&H and COI portals and updating the Business on changes to Modern Slavery risks.
