Responsibilities
Specific duties include but are not limited to:• Review warranty/field-service returned product, identify root causes and provide updates to the Customer Service team to ensure warranty claims are correctly recorded.• Provide feedback to the Production Planning team on material that requires rework to assist the production process.• Review non-conformances from material received from suppliers, identify root causes and remedial action to prevent further non-conformances.• Work with the engineering team to identify product issues for design improvements.• Work with the Quality team and suppliers to reduce non-conforming material and scrap costs.• Create Calibration Certificates when required by customers.• Assist with carrying out internal quality audits in accordance with our quality management system.• Assist with creating work instructions for the Quality team.
Qualifications
Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:• Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.• Good Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.• Familiar with the Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO9000)• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools• Ability to use digital multi-meters.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to project a positive, professional demeanor.• Excellent attention to detail.• Ability to work in a team environment.• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.• Strong safety orientation.• Strong customer focus.RequiredHigh Scool Diploma or equivalent3 years minimum experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment Education / Experience PreferredAssociates degree or certification in relevant disipline.Experience in test engineering.Experience in electronics manufacturing.Experience creating test reports.
