  Pay:

  This is an exempt/salary position. The pay range is $60000- $70000. Pay may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.

  Location/Travel Requirements:

  This position will work out of our office in Rapid City, SD.

  JOB SUMMARY:

  The Fleet Administrator assist the Shop/Fleet team with day-to-day operations. This can include processing permits, filing necessary documents, assisting mechanics, and other duties as assigned. This position reports directly to the Fleet Manager.

  RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  Assists shop and fleet manager with daily duties and tasks

  Assisting with Permits

  Data entry into the E360 Fleet Software

  Assist with Work orders for mechanics

  Filing

  Recordkeeping

  Assists with titles and licensing of the fleet

  Works with fleet manager to secure equipment rentals

  Coordinate timely equipment rental returns with fleet manager

  Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with co-workers

  Customer and personal service

  Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.

  Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing.

  Operate office equipment, such as copiers, or phone systems

  Assists with vendor and customer relations

  Assist with dispatching drivers

  Checking in and out Units (Equipment Transfers Forms)

  Other Duties as needed

  WORKING CONDITIONS:

  Must wear personnel protective equipment (i.e. Hard hats, safety glasses, safety harnesses as required) and respirators when required.

  Ability to work 9 hours per day, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm

  This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

  This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 40-50 lbs

  The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. (Ability to handle outside weather conditions when needed)

  The worker is sometimes subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.

  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - (THE EMPLOYEE SHOULD BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS WITH OR WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMODATIONS:

  Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

  Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.

  Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.

  Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

  Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

  Light work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

  The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.

  High School Diploma or GED

  1-2 years of experience in fleet, parts, tools, and/or mechanic shop or relevant experience

  Maintain close, positive working relationship with all staff and colleagues

  Ability to represent the company favorably to customers and vendors at all times

  Follow existing procedures, including Accounting procedures, and provide feedback for improvement whenever possible

  Computer skills: proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel

  Strong communication skills

  LICENSES:

  Valid Driver’s License

  Ability to maintain a DOT medical Card

  Pre-screen: Upon offer, employees will be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
