Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our Mental Health Substance Abuse Treatment Services (MHSATS) Quality Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Quality Officer! This position is responsible for development and implementation of strategies to effectively support this healthcare network in its goal of providing quality services to the people served in MHSATS. The Quality Officer will oversee quality functions and efforts in MHSATS while overseeing the development of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal standards and requirements which govern healthcare licenses and accreditation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Direct activities to monitor, audit, analyze, and report program performance against established standards.
Provide leadership in organizational planning and advise the team of quality issues which require organizational solutions.
Develop and maintain positive, productive, and results-oriented relationships across a divergent group of persons including, patients, families, providers, clinicians, counties, other providers, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
Consult and confer with the DCT Quality Function Lead and ensure that quality efforts, programs, functions, and initiatives complement and support each other.

Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years of professional level healthcare accreditation experience in at least three of the following areas:
Healthcare management
Patient care experience
Quality care
Quality data collection and reporting
Compliance
Patient safety
Note: A Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare management, public administration, law, or clinical health professions may substitute for one year of professional experience. A Master’s Degree in healthcare management, public administration, law, or clinical health professions may substitute for two years of professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in healthcare management, public administration, law, or clinical health profession.
Experience in compliance and risk management.
