  Your Role:

  The Quality Manager is responsible for promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization. This position will develop, implement, communicate and maintain quality plans in accordance with the Company's Quality Systems and Policies and build the quality culture.   You will have the opportunity to:

  Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to ensure products meet the quality standards and help qualify new products.

  Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.

  Liaise with customers' auditors and ensure the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications.

  Organize and manage quality assurance function in close co-operation with the Company's Management team (Member of Management Team).

  Identify relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.

  Ensure test methods and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.

  Manage and maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods or implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the QA/QC.

  In locations where applicable, responsible to comply with the ISO, BRCGS and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.

  We need you to have:

  BA/BS degree in Engineering or Statistics, or related field.

  5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing and/or Quality Assurance environment.

  Experience in quality systems and standards, inspection sampling methods, auditing, and manufacturing processes.

  Proficient in MS Office and Minitab or other statistical software.

  Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and challenge a diverse group of individuals to achieve/exceed performance expectations.

  Icing on the cake:

  MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

  Proficient in SAP a plus.

  Experience with ISO, BRCGS (or other GFSI certifications).

  Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification or training.

  Ability to maintain ASQ CQIA, CQPA, or CQE certifications or achieve within 18 months of entry into position. Maintain skills through experience, certification, and outside training.
