Job Description

　　The Quality Operations Manager will support Shop Directors to continuously improve, define and approve all and new Global Ops requirements. The manager will also collaborate across all manufacturing disciplines to drive common and standardized manufacturing launch quality system requirements, procedures, metrics, and standard methodologies. Addressing Manufacturing requirements upfront in Global Product Development process and PQRRs and will support all launch improvement initiatives.

　　Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience (engineering degree preferred).

　　Must have experience with working with union .UAW United Auto Workers

　　Have proven experience managing direct reports and influence without authority

　　Must be able to work independently, with an emphasis on looking ahead to anticipate failures, analyzing data, and a drive to make systems and equipment more efficient

　　High degree of problem-solving skills & experience in Continuous Improvement activities

　　High level of oral/written communication & presentation skills

　　Highly skilled in task management and prioritization.

　　Desire to identify where systems/programs are failing and be able to develop innovative solutions to improve the overall operation.

　　Delegation and maintaining accountability of the team’s workload

　　High level of interpersonal skills to effectively work with others and in a team environment

　　Highly proficient in usage of computer systems such as Maximo, Microsoft Office, COGNOs Analytics, SAP

　　Experience/Knowledge of software coding language (Primarily SQL) to develop complicated queries/reports in the Maximo/COGNOs environment.

　　This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Arlington Assy on a full-time basis.
