Aerotek is hiring on Quality Control Technician on 12 hour schedule
Pay - $42,000 to $50,000 salary
Job Duties:
Utilize measuring devices (tape rules, calipers, squares, protractors, micrometers, gages, optical measuring equipment) to inspect parts and verify that all dimensions are in tolerance according to customer requirements, print specifications and industry standards.
Test parts for hardness, physical and mechanical properties using Webster, Rockwell and tensile testing equipment per customer requirements and Aluminum Association standards.
Prepare samples for tensile tests using a bandsaw and a router.
Inspect, test properties, and document measurements of new and revised product samples.
Complete paperwork, package and prepare samples for shipment to customers.
Assist with testing, documentation, data collection and analysis, gage studies.
Experience needed to be considered for the position:
3 + years for Quality in Manufacturing environment
Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and work orders
Ability to use tape rules, calipers, squares, protractors, micrometers, gages, optical measuring equipment
Computer skills -basic
Math Skills
Problem solving
Experience Level:
