Gather parts forshipment ensuring the type and quantity of parts match the order,inspect product and remove defective parts, record and document partsfor shipment, package parts according to the order, utilize smallpackage shipment systems as provided by carriers to create trackinglabels, create supporting shipping documentation, move order to deliveryarea. Gather parts for assemblers to build assembly kits using picklists, inspect product and remove defective parts, stage parts kit oncarts, deliver completed kits to the proper manufacturing area.Continually checking for completeness of work order requirements andcomponents. Organize and restock all products as needed on shelves andinventory control machines to insure customer orders are filled promptlyand complete as possible. Complete order receipts. Answer customers\'questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandiseselection. Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and suppliesto customers or coworkers, based on information from incomingrequisitions. Keep records of out-going orders. Stock shelves, racks,cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise. Operateequipment such as forklifts. Stamp, attach, or change price tags onmerchandise, referring to price list. Receive and count stock items, andrecord data manually or on computer. Obtain merchandise from bins orshelves.
