We are seeking a Quality Control Manager for a well known manufacturing company in South Windsor, CT. The quality manager will be responsible for managing quality personnel, customer and supplier interface, and maintaining compliance with AS9100, ISO, and regulatory requirements. This is a Full time, direct hire opportunity.
salary: $100,000 - $149,999.99 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Manage a small to medium team of inspectors and quality engineers
Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) and AS9100 Aerospace Standard
Evaluate production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements
Develop and assure Quality Assurance Department budget is maintained
Manage internal auditing activities
Collaborate with management and senior staff across production departments, to draft acceptable quality standards and compliance procedures
Develop and implement quality standard testing and evaluation processes
Assess test results and approves recommended changes
Review quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, compliance, and relevance
Periodically report the status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies
Be accountable for Quality Program management and timely performance of Quality Assurance Department tasks
