　　Job Description:

　　The Division of Behavioral Services, Research and Policy in the Department of Psychiatry at the Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a full-time Professor to conduct research on health services and the history of psychiatry.

　　Responsibilities for this position include:

　　Oversee the review, organization and rendering of historical medical records for patients treated in the NYS Mental Hospital System for reference and utilization for scholarly and research purposes.Conduct research on the intersection of mental health and criminal justice systems.Conduct research on homelessness and serious mental illness.Teach medical students, graduate students, postdoctoral residents, and fellows.Provide clinical care

　　Minimum Degree required: MD & PhD

　　MD & PhD from Accredited Institution.Clinical training in psychiatry and research experience in behavioral health services and the history of psychiatryNew York State LicenseActive DEA licenseBoard CertifiedProfessor level requires national reputation evidenced by peer referees.
