Quality Assurance Technician

　　ENABLE your future through light.We are presently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician that will assure theexpected outputs of the process are being met by qualifying the product to itsspecifications.

　　Main responsibilities:Qualify processes by conducting inspections to all geometric and surfacequality tolerancesIdentification of optics and optical components, as defined in the processsheet.Use of calipers, drop gauges, video microscopes, tweezers, and othertools as required for inspections.Inspection of packaging for FOD prior to packaging product.Creation of labels, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), documentationpackages to be shipped to customers.Perform visual inspections for optics surface quality in accordance withspecifications and standardized proceduresPerforms measurement and inspection on complex optics and optical assembliesusing standardized methods and non-traditional methods and equipment, asinstructed. This includes any necessary setup.Reads and understands drawings in order to determine specificationsReads and follows process sheets, prints, coating scans, interferometerscans, and material certs

　　Requirements:High School Diploma preferredAssociates degree preferredKnowledge and understanding of moderate to complex math calculations a plus.1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance position in a manufacturingenvironment preferred.
