Meet the team:
Performs inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for productmanufacturing processes. Carries out packaging line, manufacturinginspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and rawmaterials to ensure that company standards are met. Monitors criticalequipment and instrumentation. May draft procedures and assist withvalidating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays. Mayapply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analyticaldata is evaluated.
Where you come in:
You will be responsible for visual and/or dimensional QC inspectionand/or testing of incoming quarantined materials, inspection ofin-process materials, labeling, and final commercial product.You will be responsible for quarantine storage of materials andaccurate inventory transactions within the MRP system.Your responsibilities will include accurately recording inspectionresults and maintaining good documentation practices.You will utilize basic computer skills to perform computertransactions related to inspection activities.You will assume and perform other duties as assignedWhat makes you successful:
You must understand basic visual and dimensional inspectiontechniques.You will have the ability to follow written procedures and takedirection from supervisor and/or other designated personnel inexecution of QC inspection assignments.You must demonstrate basic computer skills and performs basiccomputer transactions.You must exhibit good organizational skills and attention to detail.You must have good written and verbal communication skills.You can work flexible hours; including possible rotating schedulesthat may include early morning or evening hours, holidays, andweekends. Typically requires a minimum of 0-2 years of related experience anda High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.Language Skills:
Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Examples of Englishlanguage proficiency may include (but are not limited to): ability toread and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to writeroutine reports and correspondence; ability to verbally communicate withleadership, employees, and auditors; ability to comprehend spokenlanguage.
