Description

　　Responsibilities:

　　Receive and review incoming purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy. Process and distribute all transactions related to the procurement process

　　Manage purchases by forwarding orders to suppliers and monitoring and expediting orders

　　Process and index in system all Purchase Order documents (Quotes, Emails, Requisitions)

　　Verify receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipment errors with suppliers

　　Manage and resolve Invoice Exceptions

　　Generate system receipts against Purchase orders for product and services received

　　Responsible for the job close out process by reviewing all Purchase Orders, Subcontracts committed cost. Confirm all invoices have been received and close out PO’s. Review all rental POs and confirm we have been fully invoiced, and items are off rented

　　Responsible for setting up new vendors in Vendor Master with all required audit documentation.

　　Assist in the process of completing Vendor Quarterly Rebate reporting

　　Assist in the reconciliation of the Department Purchasing Card Program

　　Reconcile Post Purchasing Accrual by requesting missing invoices before the next monthly accrual

　　Reconcile assigned monthly Vendor Statements

　　Candidate Requirements:

　　High school diploma or GED certificate

　　Associates degree or experience in accounting and/or Purchasing (preferred)

　　Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel

　　Fast learner, detail oriented

　　Ability to work under pressure

　　Organizational, Time Management and Critical Thinking skills are a must

　　Must possess a service-oriented personality, willing to go above and beyond to assist cross functional team members in a manner that is friendly, respectful and professional
