Overview

　　As a Proposal Manager , you will work as a leader in our Steampunk Capture and Sales organization and will be responsible for managing our proposal process and leading teams of business and technical leaders to produce winning responses to government solicitations. This will include preparing proposal kickoff materials, conducting kickoff meetings and communicating team roles and responsibilities, developing compliance matrices, developing proposal outlines and schedules, and orchestrating the overall final proposal response in time for thorough reviews and submission preparation. You will work with the team to ensure they are developing a compliant proposal that is reflective of our win strategies. In addition to proposal management, this role includes supporting competitive research, preparing white papers and marketing materials in support of sales and capture efforts, and maintaining our SharePoint knowledge repository along with our Capture and Sales teams.

　　Contributions

　　Specific responsibilities will include:

　　Work collaboratively with Capture Managers, Solution Architects, Sector Leads, and Sales Leads during the capture phase to help develop our solution and capture strategy;

　　Validate and develop win themes, strengths, value propositions, discriminators, and graphics in collaboration with solution architects and capture resources;

　　Align strategies to proposal outline and coach authors on how to reflect these in a compliant response;

　　Analyze the solicitation and develop a compliance matrix and annotated outline;

　　Develop and communicate a detailed scheduled for writers and reviewers;

　　Coordinate and run proposal response stand-up meetings to report status and manage team tasks and priorities;

　　Organize and conduct proposal reviews;

　　Support continual improvement of the proposal process in coordination with the Capture VP;

　　Enhance and conduct proposal training as required for staff; and,

　　Work with Sector leadership to monitor proposal budgets

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

　　At least 5 years of experience managing federal proposals

　　Experience decomposing solicitations, developing compliance matrices, aligning win strategies to the proposal document, and driving the team to meet deadlines.

　　Experience supporting sales/business development teams in preparing for and delivering client facing meetings, presentations, and written responses for government procurements;

　　Exceptional organization and oral and written communication skills

　　Proficiency in MS Word and various graphics development and desktop publishing tools

　　Proficiency in multiple methods of visual communication and oral delivery

　　Experience working in a team, but also being able to prioritize and self-manage

　　Preferred experience supporting Technical Challenge proposal responses and demonstrations

　　Preferred experience supporting Video based proposals (e.g. GSA FEDSIM)

　　U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
