Taking primary guidance from the Contracts and Legal Manager, the ProposalAnalyst will be responsible for compiling materials and preparing,finalizing and submitting a large volume of proposals for federal governmentcontracts in conformance with solicitation requirements and with a high degreeof accuracy and attention to detail. Additionally, the Proposal Analyst willactively manage the proposal schedule and interface with internal senior staffand executives to ensure proposals are timely submitted. Additionalresponsibilities include document management and maintaining accuraterecords, tracking proposals through the pre-award and award phase,administering the company's inventory management program includingdisposition of property at the contract closeout stage, processing andsubmitting contract deliverable reports with various government agencies,and fielding general contractual inquiries.
This role requires strong interpersonal, time management, andorganizational skills. The successful candidate will have demonstratedexperience in submitting a large volume of proposals for government contractsand a can-do approach to related challenges. Additionally, the successfulcandidate will excel in document processing, editing and navigatinggovernment submission sites.
Roles and Responsibilities:Communicate, plan and actively manage proposal schedules for variousgovernment agencies, including maintaining internal tracking toolsCollaborate with senior staff to ensure proposals are fully compliant withsolicitation and agency requirements, as identified in solicitation documentsAssist with developing budgetary and financial elements of proposalsInterface with senior staff and executives to advise on proposalrequirementsCompile proposal materials and submit proposals according to solicitationrequirements and within deadlines, which will require occasionalnon-standard work hoursSupport pre-award negotiation effortsParticipate in process improvement efforts for proposal submission tasksincluding developing solutions and streamlining effortsMaintain documents and records according to departmental conventions andestablished practicesAssist with administration of company's inventory management program forproperty purchased with government fundsProcess and submit high volume of contract reporting deliverables withvarious agencies in accordance with contract requirementsField general contractual inquiries from internal staff includingreviewing contract instruments and advising on terms and conditionsAssist with process improvements that may or may not be related toproposals and assisting at times with program management tasksPerform other duties as necessary
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (or related degree).Higher level degree may substitute for two years of experienceRelevant work experience of at least 2-6 years of recent "hands-on"government proposal experienceA history of performance illustrating skills in being a self-starter,having excellent interpersonal and communication, and ability to worki dependently and with a dynamic teamProven analytical ability and close attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to presentclearly and succinctlyAbility to handle short deadlines / quick-turn requestsAbility to quickly determine and communicate relevant informationStrong Microsoft Office skillsTeam player with a drive for excellence and ability to collaborate at alllevels of the organization

The annual salary range is $72,000-$87,000, plus the completebenefits package.
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, actualcompensation is subject to variation due to factors as education,experience, skill-set, and/or location.
