VCA Kaneohe Animal Hospital is seeking experienced (3-5 years minimum) Credentialed Technicians, to join our team!

We are specifically looking for Full-Time support; Shifts range throughout the week, fulfill a forty (40) hour work week on days that are based on the needs of the hospital.

Closing (730p) and weekend availability is a requirement.

This position pays $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, dependent on experience, education, certification, etc.

Emphasis on team approach to client service between receptionist, technical and veterinary staff. Compassionate care for all patients is a must. In this position you will be supporting our Doctors by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients during their care. Duties will include but are not limited to:

· Lab sample collection and processing

· Medication preparation and administration

· Radiology and diagnostics

· Venipuncture and catheter placement

· Surgical preparation and assisting

· Dentistry

· Computer data entry and maintaining electronic medical records

· Presenting patient History and signalment to our doctors

· Cleaning and caring for hospitalized patients

· Fear Free Patient handling and restraint for peer Veterinary Assistants, Registered Technicians and Doctors

· Filling prescriptions

· Some phone, client e-mails, and fax management

· Anesthesia Experience

· Dentistry Experience

· Catheter placement

· Urgent Care Experience
