Job Description
Provide advanced project management support to deliver projects within the established budget and time line.
Responsibilities: -Performs advanced program and project development, disseminates project information, and serves as an active participant in project-related work groups and committees.
-Provides recommendations to achieve goals.
-Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates programs and projects.
-Develops project budgets and prepares contracts.
-Manages budgets for projects or the program.
-Coordinates project activities, collaborates with project team members, develops measurable project goals and objectives, and monitors progress toward achievement.
-Prepares agenda’s for meetings, documents key decisions, and collaborates with team members to develop project collateral.
-Develops and disseminates work plans and project documents to include procedures, proposals, progress reports, and presentations.
-Develops and prepares training and operational manuals.
-Hire and supervise personnel and manage team members.
-Establish protocols for improving project/program and personnel efficiency, and contribute to problem solving.
-Provide organizational and logistical support to the project activities.
-Occasional travel with overnight stays to project performance locations, annual meetings, and sponsor meetings and present project progress and results.
-Draft e-mails to the project PD and manage daily communications and business activities.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus an additional two (2) years of related experience in project management.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
-Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
-Ability to multi task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Ability to produce educational/outreach videos and other materials and use relevant communication tools and platforms.
