Working in the Robotics Customer Service front end, Robotics & Discrete Automation Service & Digital Platform in Auburn Hill, Michigan, you will be leading the execution of small projects, ensuring that they are executed in line with procedures, specifications, standards requirements and targets. In this role, you will be leading the execution of medium size projects and ensures that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements, financial targets and schedule commitments.Your responsibilities
Project Leadership: Leads the project team, establishes the project execution approach and oversees project hand over, execution planning and monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goalsProvides performance feedback for the resources allocated to projectsInstructions and Guidelines: Involves in continuous improvement and simplificationSupports in improving guidelines, tools and templatesEnsures compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards and contractual requirementsBudget, Sales and Operations Planning: Supports local sales and tendering through early involvement in tendersProject Execution and Control: Ensures that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policiesMonitors and controls project progress effectively and efficient resource utilizationMonitors and controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flowIdentifies, qualifies, quantifies, manages project risks and ensures all opportunities are identified and pursuedCaptures, analyzes and shares lessons learned throughout the projectDrives the formal acceptance of the project, contract close out and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contractContract and Claims/ & Procurement Management: Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreementsCoordinates with Supply Chain Management and successfully procures required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliersSupports Procurement and Logistics in supplier negotiations, claims and project changesStakeholder Relations: Acts as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issuesBuilds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholdersHealth, Safety and Environment (HSE): Ensures the project follows and complies with company HSE policiesCreates project HSE plans and ensures that common HSE policies and reporting are implemented across the project with all stakeholders, including collaboration/consortium partners and sub suppliersDemonstrates unique actions/initiatives to support site safety and ensures consistent HSE performancePeople Leadership and Development: Leads the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables and meet the committed project resultProject Recovery: Demonstrates and proactively applies immediate recovery actions to mitigate schedule delays and cost overrunsPlanning and Scheduling: Defines and applies project
