　　DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:DescriptionAs a Laboratory Technician, you support our high complexity testing laboratories by preparing all blood components including centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.

　　We're looking for someone who can:* Perform all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment; analyzes complex problems; and recommends additional service, as needed.* Performs receipt of freshly drawn units and samples, and unpacks, evaluates, and routes samples for accessioning. Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services* Assures product quality, volume, assay requirements, appearance and time requirements.* Performs labeling of routine and special components and quarantine of unacceptable components.
