  As a Project Manager II, Enterprise PMO, you will be responsible for leading key projects in several different business divisions within GXO. You will work with small to large cross-functional project teams to implement new business and/or continuous improvement initiatives ensuring the projects are completed on time and on budget. The Project Manager II will complete weekly project status updates for executive review and receive monthly project audits on all projects to meet governance metrics on process compliance.

  What you'll do on a typical day:Provide leadership for project execution for both internal departments and external clientsCreate and manage cohesive project plans with identifiable critical paths, task dependencies, risk/issue mitigation processes and major milestonesFacilitate meetings to discuss tasks, budget and resolve conflictsReport project status on a weekly basisDocument and update processesServe as the single point of contact for project communication to internal and external stakeholdersBuild solid relationships with internal and external stakeholdersSupport other project managers and project team members as needed

  What you need to succeed at GXO:

  At a minimum, you'll need:Bachelor's degree (preferably in Supply Chain) or equivalent work experience1 years of project management experience leading medium to large complex initiativesExperience creating and managing timelines and budgets for multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience presenting to C-Suite ExecutivesAbility to build strong relationships cross-functionally within the organizationStrong verbal skills to facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholdersStrong written skills to convey project status effectivelySelf-motivation to work well with minimal supervision in a team environment to drive resultsHighly organized and detail oriented to keep project team on task to meet project objectivesExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)It'd be great if you also have:2-5 years of experience in project managementBackground in Supply Chain, Logistics or TransportationCAPM, PMP CertificationAvailability to travel up to 50% of the timeExperience in a customer-facing roleSmartsheet experienceWe engineer smarter, faster, leaner supply chains
