How about accessing and maintaining over 650 acres of beautiful park space including 66 park sites, over 30 miles of trails, the Centennial Park Aquatic Center, and approximately 300 acres of open area acquired through the Village Open Lands of Orland Park program?

　　The Natural Resources & Facilities (NRF) Division of our Public Works Department is now seeking responsible, enthusiastic individuals to work as Seasonal Maintenance employees during the summer of 2024!!

　　Key Responsibilities

　　This position will mainly assist full-time staff in performing general forestry, landscaping, outdoor maintenance, general maintenance at the Centennial Park Aquatic Center (CPAC). This position will also assist in general building maintenance tasks at Village owned facilites such as garbage pick-up. Some heavy lifting and other generals maintenance duties as assigned.

　　These positions require physical labor and are primarily performed outdoors and the hours will be adjusted by management based on inclement weather.

　　Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

　　A high school diploma is required along with a valid driver's license, Class C preferred. Previous facility or outdoor maintenance experience is preferred. Skills in the use of hand tools and in the operation of gasoline and electric powered equipment is also preferred. Ability to work on and complete daily tasks indendently or with team as directed. These positions are ideal for college students seeking summer work.

　　These areSEASONALpositions scheduled to work40 hours per week Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.Flexibility in weekly schedules may be accommodated with permission from the Natural Resources and Facilities Operations Manager.
