About IT Sourcing Manager - Strategic Partnerships

  Eaton’s Information Technology division is seeking an IT Sourcing Manager – Strategic Partnerships to join our team. This position will be based in Beachwood, OH; Raleigh, NC; Moon TWP, PA; Houston, TX; Menomonee Falls, WI or Galesburg, MI.

  The expected annual salary range for this role is $120,075 - $176,110 a year.

  What you’ll do:

  The IT Sourcing Manager - Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for the entire ecosystem of our IT strategic partnerships. The manager will create processes from scratch and will be integral in creating a center of excellence from the ground up. There will also be a very large cost savings and vendor consolidation target to hit annually ($10m+).

  The IT Sourcing Manager is responsible for managing the contracts, relationship, performance, cost, and risk management activities for a high-volume base portfolio of vendors.

  • The Manager must be able to navigate the working partnerships with vendors to ensure that contractual commitments are delivered across IT.

  • Strong ability to work with key stakeholders to ensure that their vendor requirements are met, resolving problems, mitigating SLA issues, assisting with audits, mediating disputes and escalating issues.

  • Work alongside procurement, supply chain, finance, and IT stakeholders to assist with developing master service agreements (MSA), statements of work (SOWs) and various vendor contracts.

  • Work with Legal and IT Security team representatives to develop, redline, and insert appropriate legal protections in contracts.

  • Will co-create strong processes to establish clear VMO control policies.

  • Develop metrics, dashboards, scorecards on vendor performance in accordance with VMO policies, existing requirements and regulatory obligations.

  • Develop summarized contract elements which will be used to operationalize the fully executed contract.

  • Identify appropriate relationships in conjunction with internal customers and vendors to drive proper alignment on business and operational topics.

  • Facilitate and maintain partnerships between the vendors and IT stakeholders, including executive leadership.

  • Define governance cadence for each vendor quarterly. Ensuring reviewed (contract, business, risk) are occurring in accordance with the agenda, participants and cadence defined.

  • Manage consistent capture of portfolio performance including financial, execution and value realization within the organization.

  • Provide insight to the businesses and executive leadership on current vendor relationships, including spend, relationship health and vendor performance, as well as providing mitigation options for any vendor-related issues and risks.

  • Administer commercial and financial arrangements with vendors including reviews on billing, performance credits, and internal chargebacks, where appropriate.

  • Ensure risk assessments and reviews are performed at the onset of vendor selection and continue to occur with the cadence defined.

  Qualifications:

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

  Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, procurement, asset management AND/OR contract negotiations

  Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

  No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work locations listed will be considered. Active-duty military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Experience with IT contracts SaaS, Cloud software and security.

  Strong verbal and written communication

  Experience with all key IT groups and an understanding of IT categories (software, hardware, digital, etc.)
