Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The chosen individual will play a pivotal role in executing and managing construction projects of various sizes across the United States, from inception to completion. This role is based in Elgin, Illinois, and offers a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity.

Construction industry background is a must!!

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the planning and staging of projects, ensuring all activities are in line with the estimated budgets and schedules

• Diligently managing project changes and potential risks to ensure smooth project progression

• Ensuring strict compliance with federal, state, municipal, union, and customer requirements in all project activities

• Regularly providing detailed reports on project status and progress

• Building and nurturing strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and team members

• Translating estimators' visions into profitable realities by effectively managing project execution

• Enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness

• Ensuring all project specifications and requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Proven skills in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) preferred

• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred

• Experience with IBM software and tools

• Knowledge of About Time software

• Experience in managing budget processes

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Background in the construction industry or related field
