Responsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management function. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Roles and Responsibilities
Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Supervisory roles that provide direct or indirect leadership for overall projects operation, including leadership for operations in which activities are centralized shared resources to execute customer projects and/or project monitoring activities.
May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Leads less complex projects
Creates, tracks and updates project schedule and budget
Tracks and manages the cost
Tracks program / project metrics
Improves and leans processes and system for budgeting, forecasting and actuals within program
Tracks external funding and cost allocation the cost
Collaborates with others to solve issues cross functions and cross GE sites
Required Qualifications
This role requires basic experience in the Project Management & Operations Leadership.
Bachelors or Master’s degree from accredited technical university
