Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager to join our team in Green Riyadh Program. The SOW includes the construction of irrigation water tanks, irrigation networks, softscape, hardscape, and planting in 7 neighborhoods and 3 major roads within Riyadh City.
Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned projects.
The role involves managing teams, ensuring design integrity, and liaising with client and stakeholders to deliver high-quality project.
What You'll Be Doing:
Overseeing the entire project lifecycle. The role involves planning, executing, and closing of projects. Coordination of various stakeholders, manage budgets and timelines and ensure the successful implementation of design.
Lead the design activities, ensuring the engineering and the design is in conformance with the project specifications and client requirements, coordination with architects and/or design consultants, overseeing the development of concepts, and ensuring designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
Overseeing the on-site construction process. Coordinate with contractors, manage schedule, and ensure that installations align with design specifications and safety standards.
Knowledge of the business and financial aspect of projects not limited to contracts, budgets, and procurement, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability. The role involves negotiation, risk management, and maintaining positive client relationships to contribute to the overall success of construction endeavors.
Assigning the resources at his disposal in the most effective manner.
Provides instructions to the Contractor to conform to the approved safety plan for the execution of the works on the Contract.
Supervises supervision consultant, Inspectors, Technicians and support staff.
Writes drafts of monthly reports.
Maintains daily diary, up-to-date and in the approved format.
Ensures that workmanship and materials are in accordance with the Contract documents.
Monitors, reviews and reports the Contractor progress and updates cost-to-complete estimates as required.
Convenes periodic meetings with the Contractor.
Maintains day-to-day liaison with the Client Field Representative.
Coordinates and expedites processing of the Contractor partial payment invoices.
Furnishes consultation and recommendations to the Project Manager concerning the interpretation of Contract Documents and claims by the Contractor for extra works and time extensions.
assistance with utilities and structural engineering assistance.
Assists in preparing necessary supplemental drawings when required to resolve field difficulties.
Prepares correspondence and instructions to the Contractor, as well as various reports and other
correspondence.
Reviews as-built drawings
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related technical/business field
15+ years of related work experience is required
Broad general technical and business background
