Description:

You don't need to be a Developer, but you have been in a project Development environment so you understand how to see in shades of Risk, and have the eye to track how the shades shift through time.
Assist clients in the project development and project management of renewable energy projects throughout the project life cycle – from development to construction, to operational hand-off.
Assist in business development efforts to grow business, including client relations, proposal
development, and attendance at conferences and workshops.
Develop plans and estimates for projects, including equipment and construction pricing, labor rates and schedules, and productivity estimates.
Establish and review construction budgets, maintain construction schedules, review work scopes, and review and respond to RFIs, submittals and change orders.
Coordinate external bidding process required to procure goods and services necessary for all phases of project execution, including preparation of bid packages, evaluation of proposals, contract
negotiations, and recommendations to sr management.
Support project developers in developing projects and assist risk management as requested to secure
power-off take arrangements, financing agreements, equity acquisition agreements, and requests for proposals related to the projects/sites for which the Project Manager is responsible.
Work in partnership with development teams to assure a seamless transition of sites into the construction phase.
Provide leadership for on-site project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
Perform commercial and technical contract reviews for construction and procurement contract.
Review, comment on, and negotiate project change orders.

Must Have:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construstion Management, or related field
Experience working on Wind Farm projects from initiation to completion i.e. working through scope, permitting, procurement, construction, project close out
Experience working in a developer environment either at a development company or an EPC
Technical Knowledge of Wind Projects
Ability to Travel to Job Sites
Experience working in construction softwares
Strong Communication Skills
Strong Time Managment Skills
"Go-Getter"/Self Motivated personality
The best candidate: Someone who has 7-10 years within the renewable energy space.. At least 3-4 years acting as a project manager on wind projects.
