We are seeking a JourneymanElectrician that will plan layouts, install, and repair wiring,electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment. Plansnew or modified installations to minimize waste of material, provideaccess for future maintenance, avoids hazardous and unreliable wiring,consistent with specifications and local electrical codes. Measures,cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit andwiring Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches,relays, and circuit-breaker panels. Observes functioning of installedequipment or system to detect hazards and repairs faulty equipment ifnecessary Write and install programs into PLC\'s for retrofittingexisting machinery Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of allproduction equipment Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of productionequipment during machine service. Read and interpret equipment manualsand work orders to perform required service. Work with computerizedmaintenance management system (CMMS) for work orders, equipmenttracking, parts, etc. Perform root cause analysis troubleshooting andperformance analysis. Train maintenance personnel Highly knowledgeableand experienced with electrical equipment: 480/230 3ph, 110 & 24vdccontrols, prints and schematics Reverse engineers complicated electricalcircuits and learns how the circuit operates Designs & builds productiontest equipment to make it robust and reliable for that environment Takesownership of equipment PLC programming & PC Programming (Allen Bradleyprogramming experience required) HMI programming Motion control systemdesign and implementation Control hardware design and documentationsystem design Develop electrical schematics and interconnect diagramsMaintains current professional and technical knowledge. What skills andexperience are needed for success?
