Job Description:
Applying a critical eye for detail, our Project Auditor PMO, will manage the ongoing compliance and quality review of in-flight and completed projects to ensure we are adhering to our methodology and delivering value-add for our clients. Key areas of focus will include:
Undertake regular, scheduled reviews of in-flight projects to ensure compliance with established methodology.
Ensure appropriate and correct artifacts / tools are being used to manage projects and project reporting.
Provide feedback to the VP PMO of any gaps or organizational challenges in the project delivery process identified during audits.
Collaborate with the VP PMO on feedback for any potential process improvements identified during audits.
Schedule and lead review meetings for recently completed or cancelled implementation projects.
Collaborate with VP PMO for ongoing audits of artifacts, their currency and scheduled reviews.
Essential Responsibilities of the Role Include but Are Not Limited To:
In collaboration with the VP PMO, develop a comprehensive audit process to review projects and project artifacts.
Utilize audit process to review and evaluate all implementation projects to ensure both compliance with methodology and the quality of the deliverables.
Review application and accuracy of key methodology tools including:
Project Plan.
RAID log.
Sign-Off sheets.
Status Reporting, meeting minutes and meeting recordings.
Budget vs Actual reporting and currency.
PMO Project Tracker.
Go/No-Go and Go Live Readiness assessments.
Subledger Reconciliation.
Go Live Sign Off.
Project Closure.
Training Agenda.
Participate in ongoing project status calls (internal and external) as appropriate.
Essential Skills Required for this Role:
Loves to jump into details to find patterns or abnormalities.
Applies critical thinking and attention to detail to ensure compliance with our processes through an inspection cycle.
Good knowledge of and experience with the Project Management processes, delivery tools, and methodologies.
Understanding of checklists and how to develop and assess compliance using them.
Be an independent thinker and an effective communicator.
Requisite Skills and Attributes:
2+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Associate Project Manager
Computer proficiency with Word and Excel. Ability to quickly learn new software
Experience with NetSuite ERP and Smartsheet a plus
Software industry experience a plus but not mandatory
Type at least 40 wpm.
Able to work 9 am – 6 pm U.S. Eastern Standard Time
Exceptional attention to detail and follow up skills
Able to hold self and others accountable
Adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
