Pratt Miller is looking for an experienced Program Manager to work in the Mobility Business Unit. Pratt Miller programs are managed through a matrix organization utilizing resources from various functional areas such as engineering, design, and manufacturing. Responsibilities include customer satisfaction, achieving project and program goals/targets. The Program Manager leads a project team or multiple project teams in performing program management activities to ensure business unit success while achieving individual project goals and success criteria for a portfolio of projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning
Support Business Development and other internal resources with proposal development for follow-on and new businessCoordinate planning meetings with leadership team to develop project planning of tasks, deliverables, schedules, resources, roles and responsibilities, risks and communication plansDevelop project budgets, schedules, and tasks using work breakdown structureWork with technical leads to develop detailed project team structureDevelop project financial forecast plan -- cost and revenueWork with internal resources on quoting changes that impact scope, cost, or timing on running programsDevelop all proposals using company business systems and toolsProject Execution
Create project charter to provide overall vision of projectSchedule and facilitate kick-off meetings with the internal project execution teamsSchedule and facilitate external kick-off meetings with the customer teamsDevelop Project Management Plan with assistance of technical leads and resource managers to provide program budget, resource plan, and overall timing plan that includes milestonesCreate responsibilities for team members (project RASIC) based on standard roles and program resource planPerform project risk analysis and risk managementCoordinate and lead status meetings with project team to review and manage project tasks, deliverables, schedules, resources, roles & responsibilities, risk mitigations, and communication plansCoordinate and facilitate status meetings with the customer teamsMaintain Lessons LearnedMaintain Program Management Review status using standard tools and reportsPresent Program Management Reviews as scheduled to executive leadershipMaintain cost and revenue planningEnsure invoices are submitted in accordance to plans and updated in company business systems.? Keep management informed of any changes to plans.Project Deliverables and Wrap-Up
Ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed customer timing and quality expectations.Lead internal project close-out reviews in accordance with company SOP.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide PM support on internal company Technology Roadmap initiativesProvide feedback on product needs and processesSupport Program Management Office on process developments and improvementsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
BS in Engineering or similar technical degree
