　　TDA has an opening for a Full Time Production Technician to carry out sorbentand catalyst production. Production quantities may vary from pounds to tonsof finished product. Multiple processes are used, including mixers,extruders, presses, tanks, and furnaces. This position will requireproduction at all scales, with adequate notes and observations to facilitatehistorical record, reproduction, and further scale-up activities.Production will require handling and transfer of large amounts of material andchemicals. Applicant should be able to handle introduction of new processesand materials and multitask to complete multiple production processes andschedules concurrently.

　　Previous experience in any of the following areas:

　　Batch-based Processing and ProductionBatch Control and HistoryQuality ControlInventory ControlGeneral Laboratory Record Keeping and PracticesFamiliarity with production flow and packagingStreamlining, and improving production processesTroubleshooting product and process issues are also beneficial

　　Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent chemical hygieneAbility to work with a variety of hazardous materials, such ascompressed gases, cryogenic liquids, acids, bases, oxidizers, andsolvents. Some operations may require use of a dust mask or respiratorExcellent English verbal and written communication skillsAbility to independently assess problems and complete tasks with minimalsupervision

　　Physical Demands:Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for long periodsAbility to climb and work from laddersCurrent Driver's License, able to be insured on company vehiclesEligible to be fork truck certified
