Description: Production Supervisor

　　Actalent Services is currently hiring Production Supervisors for a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier in the Upper Sandusky, OH area and these openings will be supporting a manufacturer that creates the headliners and door panels for the interior of an automobile. This manufacturing facility is a climate controlled environment where you will predominantly be the main Supervisor over your area within the facility and will be tasked with supervising anywhere from 20-30 production operators. The areas that you would supervise could either be the plastic injection molding area or the assembly area.

　　As the Production Supervisor, you will be the main person in-charge on your shift and will be responsible of being a strong leader to provide direction to the personnel on your shift. You will be required to train new operators and also step in when necessary to ensure that manufacturing & assembly is running smoothly. You must also have a general understanding of production scheduling since that will be a part of your day to day responsibilities. You also must have a general understanding of production equipment and procedures since you will be required to help when needed.

　　There are openings on 3rd shift (9pm-5am) on the Headliners team and Door Panels production team & this is a Consultant position with Actalent. You would start as a Full-Time Actalent Services consultant where you would be employed by Actalent Services and after the 9-month period, you then would be hired on Direct. During the 9-month period, Actalent Services will mirror the Client's Holiday and Vacation schedule. 　　2-3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor within a High-Volume manufacturing company or even Automotive (Plastic Injection molding manufacturing is a PLUS)

　　Must have strong Leadership skills & Must be able to take the Initiative in the workplace

　　This person must be "eager to know it all"

　　Must have a passion for developing a team

　　Must be able to hold people accountable

　　Must not be afraid to get hands dirty and lead by example

　　Understanding of production scheduling

　　Must have High School Diploma
