@Orchard, LLC, has been retained by a fast-growing geospatial technologyservices firm in their search for an experienced Front End Developer to jointheir team in support of Defense, Intelligence, and Federal clients toachieve mission success and solutions for varied mission-critical programs.Projects can span a wide range of software and analytical methodologies andlie at the intersection of software development and geospatial intelligence.Our client works with soldiers and geospatial analysts to produce solutionsthat allow them to develop better situational understanding of complexoperational pictures. They do everything from data collection to UI/UXdevelopment and advanced deep learning, using a broad toolset includingPython, C#, and ArcGIS. Their projects include cutting-edge R&Defforts, as well as large mission programs incorporating dataprocessing/optimization, data dissemination techniques, visualization,and collaboration across the commercial and governm ent sectors.

As a Front-End Developer, you will:
Support the modernization of a system that incorporates the latesttechnologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and DevSecOps to provideComputer Vision capabilities.Be expected to think creatively and apply UX design principles in designing,implementing, testing, and integrating new and updated front-endcomponents using Svelte.Work as a key member of a tight-knit agile development team, contributing tothe development of solutions that support critical missions for the U.S.Government.Collaborate with other team members to create innovative and meaningfulsolutions that provide value to end-users in a highly collaborative andrapidly changing environment within a distributed team environm entEstablish design vision, standards, and best practices to peers andprogram leadership as a UX championWork closely with the product owner, software architect, and other teammembers to design and implement bespoke solutions and/or adapt off-the-shelfsolutions to solve tough user challenges while meeting customer needs andrequirementsEmploy industry proven design principles and patterns, open-source tools,and personal engineering experience to deliver and integrate a myriad of toolsand capabilities for a broad set of users and communitiesCompose solutions that incorporate micro services, containerization, andRESTful Web components - leveraging the DevOps pipelines to drive rapiddeliver
Your Background should include the following:
US Citizenship required.
Active Top Secret clearance with an ability to obtain SCI access andwillingness to obtain CI PolygraphBachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field10+ years of relevant experience within these Core Technologies:
JavaScript/TypeScriptNodeCSS (Tailwind) and HTMLOpenLayersGit

The compensation for the role will be in the $130K-$190K range. Note thesalary information provided is a general guideline only. Salaries are based oncandidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and businessconsiderations.
