　　This is the entry level position. The Production Packaging Associate (PPA) is responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products. This position will also load and move material and operate packaging equipment. The PPA will also be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices. 

　　3rd Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 11:15pm - 7:30am Additional $1.50 per hour for shift differential

　　Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

　　Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.

　　Works well and effectively with others.

　　Demonstrates a One Team Cross Functional attitude by working well and effectively with others

　　Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing appropriate PPE, following Stop Think Act, and by immediately escalating abnormalities when found.

　　Demonstrates Operator Driven Quality by performing hourly inspections, by adhering to GMP policy, and by immediately escalating issues when any defect is found.

　　Can safely and efficiently operate on a designated line

　　Can correctly run drop tests for bottles on designated line

　　Monitor operation of conveyor systems and clear bottle jams from lines

　　Discard defective bottles and report poor quality issues to management

　　Ensure proper packing and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.

　　Keeps work area neat, clean, and organized.

　　Other duties as assigned by management .

　　Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　REQUIRED:

　　• Must be able to speak and read in the English language.

　　EXPERIENCE:

　　• Basic mathematical skills are required.

　　• Basic computer experience.

　　EDUCATION:

　　• Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

　　TRAINING:

　　• Completion of Altium Production Packaging Associate I training with in 90 days of hire date.

　　WORK ENVIRONMENT:

　　While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.  Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes.  Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
