　　Position Summary:

　　The primary purpose of the Construction Laborer position is to perform a wide variety of physical labor tasks to reach project goals and as directed by the position's supervisor.

　　Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

　　Ability to perform physical labor activities which includes, but is not limited to, lifting, pulling, pushing, and/or carrying different types of objects/materials.Preparing worksite zones, installing traffic barricades, cones, markers, and controlling traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.Operate a variety of equipment, which includes, jackhammers, plate tampers, concrete mortar/mixers, electric/hydraulic machines, torches, seal pots, chainsaw/quickie saws, and heavy walk behind flat saws.Assist in jackhammering concrete and pouring concrete.Caring for company tools/equipment/machines.Keeps job site clean of all unused/waste materials and ensures all equipment is stored in a safe and secure manner.Ability to use or learn how to use different hand and power tools.Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA.Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the Construction Laborer position.Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by supervisors.Workdays & Shifts:

　　Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends).Willingness to travel for extended periods of time.Education/Certifications/Licenses:

　　High school diploma or GED equivalent - Required.Valid driver's license - Required.Experience & Knowledge:

　　Prior experience working as a Laborer in the heavy/highway construction industry - Preferred.Mechanical aptitude - Preferred.Other Requirements:
