Product Line Specialist:
This position is a flexible, multi-skilled role on our production line. This position must be able to step into any role on the production line, maintaining steady productivity to reach team goals and achieve high quality standards.
Position Details:
Hourly position based upon experience & skill level
Contract with possible contract extension or hire
Standard work hours:Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm (OT volunteer after hours and Sat between 5am-12pm)
Job Responsibilities:
Cosmetic quality inspection of all products to meet high quality standards.
Perform electronic testing on all telecommunications and other electronic equipment using appropriate testing device.
Communicates well with assembly lines to achieve timely completion of production orders
Kits product in its package with all the peripheral items required for that product and labels the package with a bar code for material stock. Also required to perform validating, modifications and completion of production order in our ERP.
Responsible for inventory accuracy and managing materials to each production order.
Perform electronic testing on all telecommunications and other electronic equipment using appropriate testing device.
Verify inbound raw materials for accuracy against inbound delivery
Put away raw materials based on accurate inbound delivery
Pick raw material based on production order pick plan
Disassemble product down to the component level.
Clean and perform preventive maintenance on all components, plastics, circuit boards, etc. including soldering of components
Request parts or plastics to complete production order process.
Reassemble product to meet high quality standards.
Monitor raw materials inventory and notify appropriate personnel when reorder point is reached.
Verify and label incoming inventory and raw materials to maintain inventory accuracy requirements and satisfy cycle count requirements.
Required to silk screen required information, such as numbers or logos, onto products
Additional duties as assigned.

Familiarity with telecommunications parts and assembling

Familiarity with technical products and components; working knowledge of blueprints and schematics
Knowledge of inventory practices and procedures
Knowledge of quality and industrial standards and procedures
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Ability to differentiate between colors, numbers and letters
Picker truck experience
Ability to work overtime as needed
Artistic, patient, attention to detail, creative etc. (Pad Printing and Silk Screening)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent education and work experience
2-4 years of relevant experience in similar role
Pad and silk screen experience
Supervisory Responsibility:
No direct reportsPhysical Environment/Working Conditions:
Production environment, may have minimal exposure to chemicals
Lifting up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis and 50 pounds on an infrequent basis; finger and hand dexterity in both hands; standing; bending; and sitting on a frequent basis.
