Description

Haun Welding Supplyis seeking to hire a full timeGas Cylinder Filler Associateto join our growing team in Syracuse.

If you are looking for full time hours, Monday thru Friday, and no weekends we offer that and much more including a monthly bonus program!

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

Handling high pressure, medical and liquid cylinders.

Following proper procedures relating to prefill, in process and post filling for medical and industrial gas cylinders.

Completes and maintains required paperwork.

Understanding the hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color coding of tanks.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older

Prior warehouse experience a plus!

Prior Gas Cylinder filling experience a plus!

Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push, and pull 35+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach.

Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jacks, hand-truck, and tow motor, etc.) containing cylinders.

Must have basic computer skills.

Must have the ability to read information in small and large print.
