As a SurveyParty Chief, you will carry out field surveying with various methods andtechniques and provide oversight, interpretation of design plans, and manyother tasks related to earthwork.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Assist with the administration and compliance of Kraemer Safety and QualityProgramsProficient in operating and taking care of optical and electrical surveyinginstruments and equipment (Example: UTS, GPS, Total Station, etc.)Frequently and professionally communicate with clients, contractors,teammates, etc.Transfer survey data to the proper files in the computer network and acquiredata for field useProvide interpretation of design plans for construction/staking/laying outEnsure surveys are compliant with appliable laws, rules, and regulationsPerform field calculations, note-keeping, and electronic data collectionto describe/record survey work performedUse field survey methods and techniques to determine precise location andmeasurements of points, elevations, lines, areas and contoursDetermine methods and procedures for establishing or re-establishing surveycontrolBe responsible for and oversee the maintenance of the truck and necessaryadjustments to field survey equipmentResolve procedural, operational, and work-related problems, includingconflicts in plans, errors in work, personnel issues, etc.Coordinate activities with Kraemer project staff, project subcontractors andAssistant Survey ManagerQualifications

　　High school diploma or GED; any combination of training, education, andexperience equivalent to five years of surveying experience1+ year of experience as a Survey Party ChiefExperience in AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center (TBC), and TrimbleAccess is preferredStrong work ethic and attention to detailStrong decision-making and/or problem-solving skillsStrong time management and communication skillsEfficient in Microsoft Office applicationsBenefits
