The Windows Developer Product Marketing team’s mission is to empower developers to do their best: innovate and make Windows their preferred platform for development.
We are looking for an experienced, data-driven Product Marketing Manager, Windows Developer Platform who can own the end-to-end product marketing for our core developer tools like Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), Terminal, WinGet, Dev Home and more. You will be responsible for new feature prioritization, creation & delivery of value propositions and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new Windows developer experiences including launching features at our annual developer conference, Build. You will identify and pursue new segments of growth among Enterprises information technology (IT) Devs/Tech Decision makers and develop the right business models in partnership with business planning and finance.
We are looking for an applicant that understands the software development lifecycle and has the business and marketing acumen to translate the technical aspects of the products to differentiated value props that drive growth. Collaboration is key. You will own cross-functional partnerships, earning the trust of partners in Engineering, User research and Data Science.

Responsibilities
Develop product value prop andproduct differentiation that will drivedeveloper love, Monthly Active Devices (MAD) growth & retention,and new developer acquisition.
Partner with research teamsto identify rich market insightsthat inform new product concepts, conduct concept evaluations and influence the product roadmap.
Partner closely with engineering to build innovative experiences and products that map to biggest opportunities.
Analyse product metrics against the established objectives and key results (OKRs), define success metrics collaborating with Data Science and ideate growth strategies to fill the gap.
Develop robust GTM strategies and product launch plans to drive awareness and adoption of Windows developer features on user facing marketing channels, activate new field team engagements, and collaborate with public relations (PR) to land these value propositions across our vast ecosystem.
Champion the Windows business and brand internally to build organizational understanding of key customers, business drivers and the strategic role Windows plays for Microsoft.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business
OR equivalent experience.
1+ year of experience working with developer persona or audience and ability to communicate to developers.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
OR equivalent experience.
Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $80,900 - $162,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,300 - $176,900 per year.
