The Product Manager (Certification) will be responsible for the creation, management, and oversight of our certification programs. This role involves working closely with subject matter experts, overseeing a certification oversight committee, designing instructional materials, and facilitating communication throughout the certification process. The Product Manager (Certification) will oversee the creation of new certifications based on market and customer demand.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
Develop and maintain a portfolio of certification programs tailored to the needs of the manufacturing industryCreate and update certification examination materials, including test questions and practical assessmentsManage Certification Oversight Committee(s) to ensure the integrity and quality of certification programsOversee the creation of new certifications based on market and customers' needsRegularly review and update certification standards and guidelinesAddress appeals and disputes related to certification decisionsDevelop instructional materials, including study guides, e-learning modules, and other resources to support candidates' preparationImplement instructional design principles to enhance the effectiveness of certification materialsWork closely with subject matter experts to gather input and feedback on certification content and define certification criteriaCollaborate with the marketing and outreach teams to promote certification programsFoster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersFacilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to certification program development and committeesCommunicate certification requirements and updates clearly to candidates, trainers, and stakeholdersManage the certification application and examination process, providing guidance and support to applicantsWork with appropriate cross functional teams on new certification go to market plan and logistics examples include pricing, website, marketing, promotional material, training recertification, etc. Other duties as assignedMINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
