Amazon is seeking a motivated and driven data center supply chain manager to support the Americas data center operations space. The candidate should have extensive supply chain and procurement know how, expert on supply chain business and technical analysis, in depth knowledge of data center construction supply chain, expertise on multiple sourcing categories in data center and energy space, analytical and financial acumen , communication capabilities and a hands-on passion to dive-deep into processes used in our data center operations network. Additionally, candidate must have proven skills in managing large-scale supply chain and procurement improvement projects.
This candidate will work collaboratively and transparently with multiple business units, construction, energy, power, sustainability, procurement, legal, public relations, and others to ensure alignment between business priorities and goals. In addition, this manager will develop supply chain risk mitigation and supplier enhancement strategies and manage key initiatives and business objectives.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or other field from an accredited university or 3+ years Amazon experience
6+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience including supply chain analysis and modeling, vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement and supplier relationship management
6+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management and operations
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or Operations
Familiarity with supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, sourcing, optimization, logistics
Experience with supply chain analytical models preferred
Experience with construction and energy supply chains preferred
Experience in data centers, engineering, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company
Strong track record of creative problem solving using lean principles, and the desire to create and build new processes.
Experience measuring key operational metrics (e.g., order cycle time, ship estimate accuracy, on time and complete shipment, inventory record defect rate)
Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, bench-marking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.).
Strong quantitative, financial and qualitative analytical skills paired with hands-on attitude, excellent attention to detail, and good business judgment
Strong leader who can drive category strategies, develop pricing models, and has influence across all levels of an organization
Experience developing tools, reports, process maps, scorecards, and data visualizations that improve upon those currently employed for understanding the business and making decisions
Tableau or other data visualization tools
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel is required
Some travel is required

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
