Your Job
Collaborate with GlobalFoundries technology development and manufacturing groups and participate in development of unit process for FDX and PolySiON & HKMG technologies.
Design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize module unit process and equipment to meet technology (e.g., performance, yield, and reliability) and manufacturing (e.g., process stability, cost of ownership) targets.
Work with integration and device groups in the technology development and the manufacturing teams to plan and execute projects and implement solutions on schedule.
Engage with tool suppliers to highlight new module unit process requirements and evaluate new equipment solutions.
Define and maintain module unit process and equipment roadmaps.
Qualify and release new tools (startup) for high volume manufacturing .
Transfer technology developed into manufacturing in Fab1 in Dresden or other fabs if necessary.
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications
Technology related Bachelor's plus 5 years of experience or Master's / Diploma plus 4 years of experience; or PhD degree plus 3 year of experience in process technology development area.
Understanding of and familiarity with D iffusion (Furnace) process and equipment.
Experience and understanding of high volume manufacturing .
Knowledge of TEL Alpha and Indy furnaces.
Working knowledge of various module unit process and equipment.
Understanding of and familiarity with various characterization techniques including SEM, TEM, SIMS and VPD .
Understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners.
H ighly proficient in both spoken and written English .
Preferred Qualifications
F amiliarity with ONO LPCVD process is preferred .
Working knowledge of Fab ramp and tool sta r tup process is highly appreciated (qualification process and quality release procedures)
Experience of remote working is preferred.
Understanding of FEOL integration is a plus.
