Job Summary
The College of Engineering and Applied Science at CU Boulder welcomes applications for the Principal Investigator for the NASA NSIDC sea ice motion and age products. Specifically, applying the sea ice motion product to track sea ice movement in the Arctic, along with associated parameters such as sea ice thickness. This role will also be responsible for writing and submitting annual grant reports to the NASA Cryospheric Science Program, which provides the support for this project. The position will also continue to work with NOAA/JPSS sea ice products with the team at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. This task involves the calibration and validation of sea ice thickness, sea ice concentration, and ice surface temperature products via comparison to airborne and in situ observations.
