Oshkosh Corporation owns significant digital assets in the form of information and systems. In the event of a major incident affecting Oshkosh digital technology (DT) services, Oshkosh needs to recover these services quickly to minimize business impact. As part of the cybersecurity team, your focus is on DT recovery services, both traditional disaster and cyber recovery. You will work with both the business and DT teams to develop, operate, and maintain a recovery program to ensure DT assets are properly backed up, protected and recoverable during a major incident (cyber or traditional). The ideal person for this role is analytically minded, results driven, able to work and make decisions independently, and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
YOUR IMPACT

Strategize, architect, and continuously evolve an enterprise-wide recovery program in support of business resiliency requirements.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure necessary recovery processes, controls, and technologies are deployed to protect and restore DT assets according to business requirements in the event of a disaster or cyber incident.
Ensure business and technical recovery requirements and capabilities are aligned to policy, regulatory and contractual obligations.· Analyze, design, and facilitate technical and procedural recovery tests and exercises to validate and improve recovery plans and processes.
Develop, train, and maintain response plans that align with corporate emergency response plans, DT recovery plans, and other relevant enterprise plans.
Accountable for developing, maintaining, and executing the enterprise-wide recovery plan in the event of a major disaster or cyber incident (natural disaster or ransomware incidents).
Develop, collect, and report on recovery metrics to leadership on a regular basis.
Advocate and provide guidance to ensure foundational resiliency best practices are incorporated into all DT solutions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent.
Eight (8) or more years of experience in IT with three (3) or more in disaster recovery or business continuity roles
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Certified disaster recovery professional or similar (EDRP, ISO22301 CBCM, etc).
Direct experience in IT Infrastructure and Operations dealing with disaster recovery planning, testing, execution.
Strong understanding of risk management practices and methodologies, including risk assessment, internal controls, and mitigation strategies.
Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, and innovative problem-solving and evaluative skills.
Experience communicating conceptual and technical information both verbally (on phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, reports, presentations) to various audiences (work group, team, company management, external clients).
Experience with projects or issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and lines of business.
