　　Objectives

　　Support regional sales teams and Regional Business Management (RBM) to understand where business is heading to.

　　Be the counterpart for global controlling and take care of local financial related questions for the regional legal entities.

　　Responsibilities

　　Regional Operational Controlling APAC Mining Solutions:

　　Generate transparency over and clearly communicate regional business development on various KPIs of Profit and Loss (P/L), Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.

　　Support and challenge monthly regional forecasting process regarding accuracy and clearly lay out risks and chances.

　　Prepare and hold Quarterly Review Meetings and act as active contact for global Mining Controlling organization.

　　Operational Planning:

　　Help generating long term growth vision for regional organization and set targets accordingly.

　　Proactively follow up on target deviations and help finding mitigating measures.

　　Constantly improve effectiveness and efficiency of planning processes by best practice exchange with other functions, divisions, and regions.

　　Year-End Activities and Local Entity Support:

　　Ensure proper quarterly and year-end closing of accounts and support legal entities in dealing with business related questions / audits.

　　Functional leadership of one country controller.

　　Requirements

　　Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance. Certification in the field of Finance is a plus.

　　At least 8 years of professional experience in business and operations controlling from a multinational company.

　　Prior experience/exposure working together with a global team (APAC/EU/Americas)

　　Comfortable working within a matrix organization and able to work independently.

　　Strong stakeholder management

　　Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

　　Strong business acumen – ability to understand business needs, working closely with Sales and Product Management functions.

　　Profound knowledge of SAP and various business warehouse systems. Knowledge of Power BI and Alteryx is an advantage.

　　Ability to manage mining business stakeholders in China.
