Additional Skills & Qualifications:
The tasks we hire for are almost entirely scanning specimens into racks, sorting specimens into bins, receiving shipments and delivering samples, picking up specimens from each station and delivering it to the testing department all night long, and cleaning up or “closing” which is mostly cleaning at the end of the shift. It can be taxing for many people to be on their feet all night and every single one of these jobs require them to be standing their entire shift each night. So if you can screen for candidates who are not just capable of doing these tasks but also understand that it’s an extremely high-volume and fast-paced environment that can be very stressful to some, then they have my approval but please also stress the importance of having great attendance and arriving to work on time.
