Job Summary: Under direct supervision of a licensed OT, provides optimal patient care in order to restore function and/or prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of body part. To promote the profession of Occupational Therapy by providing education to students, hospital staff, and other professions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of a school of Occupational Therapy approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Experience: No previous experience required.
Licensure/certification: Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of South Carolina is required. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.

Knowledge/Skills: Requires the ability to work well with all levels of patients, the public and other health care professionals. Must be able to communicate effectively with people of various cultural and educational backgrounds.
Other: Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of all work related and sensitive information. Requires a mature individual who projects themselves in a professional manner.
