The Middle Mile Transportation Technology organization builds complex software solutions that work across our vendors, warehouses and carriers to optimize moving freight across our network to create a positive customer experience. Within Middle Mile, Amazon Freight Partner (freightpartner.amazon.com) is a program that enables entrepreneurs to start and grow their trucking business alongside Amazon, with exclusive training, ability to hire from their local communities, and long-term growth potential. The Amazon Freight Partner team is seeking candidates with entrepreneurial spirit who are quick learners and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator with strategic communications, business acumen, and excellent writing ability. Exercising extremely high judgment in narrow timeframes, particularly by injecting logic and care into strategic communications for our partners, is critical. You will demonstrate Insist on the Highest Standards regarding partner-facing communications and content. You will rapidly Earn Trust with multiple cross-functional partners, including program managers, product managers, and executives. You will be a thought leader who indexes high on emotional intelligence.
You will bring in fresh ideas to simplify and scale our communications processes. Our environment is fast-paced and requires a candidate who has a high Bias for Action and thrives in ambiguity.
This role is a unique hybrid of B2B Comms and thought leadership for our brand. This role can be based in Seattle/Bellevue, Nashville, Austin, Atlanta, Arlington VA, or Vancouver BC.
Successful candidates should be analytical, comfortable thinking big and diving deep, and have a proven track record of end-to-end project ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop written communications, and executive messaging and scripts
• Translate complex messaging into simple and easy-to-understand content
• Develop responsive communications to address partner concerns or escalations
• Work cross-functionally with channel marketing, creative, product marketing, product managers, and customer insights to seek voice of the customer, develop plans, and influence business decisions
• Develop thought leadership strategy and actively seek executive speaking opportunities
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications and content
• Create mechanisms among stakeholders to enable self-service and scale as a team, while continuing to hold a high quality bar

Basic Qualifications
9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience owning a global brand and driving aggressive brand awareness and growth goals
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working cross-functionally with partner teams to drive adoption and usage of brand assets and messaging
Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis and demonstrated ability to build and execute a strategy with clear goals and objectives to align to business and service objectives, and support portfolio objectives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
