　　As part of the Collections Value Stream within Discover, you will work on an Agile Team with our business partners to build and maintain consumer focused systems within our Company. Within our collections platform, we help deliver the Collections experience to the Discover website and the software utilized by our call service agents. We are building out our capabilities around our next generation Container & Serverless management platform by leveraging OpenShift from Kubernetes. 　　The Principal Application Engineer uses a vast repertoire of experience delivering high impact software solutions to work intuitively. This Engineer role knows where to look if something breaks and is key in solving challenges quickly. Principal Application Engineers are skilled in (re)design and spend more time documenting than coding. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

　　Bachelors - Computer Science or related6+ Years -- Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, or relatedInternal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of proficient on the Dreyfus engineering scale

　　The base pay for this position generally ranges between $104,000.00 to $175,600.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package.
